"New" display case

I was at a garage sale yesterday, picked up a jewelry display case for $5. It's 20" tall, with three turntable style round shelves of 12" each in diameter, the top two shelves are clear plastic, and the three shelves are enclosed in clear plastic. There is a spindle running down the middle. As I've run out of floor space, it'll be great for setting on a dresser. Big enough to hold 15 1:72 WW II fighters, as five easily fit on one shelf. And, as suggested above, I can turn the shelves, all while not having to open the case! I felt very blessed to find this. It's a great addition to hold my collection. Never know what you'll find at a garage sale!

Thumbs up Re: "New" display case

Nice score Captain Eddie, good for you. I wouldn't mind something like that, it's a big space saver.

Congrats on the neat find, Captain! Yeah, I make it a habbit of just stopping by whenever I see a "Garage Sale" poster in my neighborhood once in awhile too, just in case.

Re: "New" display case

Well, I found another great case for my diecast at a garage sale today. This one set me back $65, but I will have space for new diecast for some time. I am told it is an antique. It's a low piece, wood, with large glass panels on the top and all sides, mirrored shelf on the bottom. It's 56 3/4 inches long, 15 1/4 inches wide, and 21 3/4 inches high. In front are two sliding glass doors, has three inside glass shelves. I look forward to filling it up over time!
