Here in the Netherlands we got quite a nice option for displaying our models.

I'm afraid the page is all-Dutch (which is too bad because I really think it's a great system!) but when you click "vitrines" on the left you get taste of what the display variety of their cabinets looks like.
This is probably what I am going to get: Glass doors and sides, corners stainless steel, 80cm wide and 204cm high, six shelves (27cm between shelves), the back will be frosted blue (arctic or aqua)

I like the one shelf that is designed to fit in a corner. Nice rounded look as compared to all straight edges.
