I picked it up at the Ghibli Museum gift shop. I think it was around $40.

I found one at Very Cool Things.com (otaku video dvd anime action figures gashapon shokugan (candy toys) books manga japanese culture) for $59. I think its too pricey.

Re: Savoia S.21 and Curtiss R3C-0

I just noticed that HLJ has listed a new series of these models as diecast (with an expected release date this month - August). The original Fine Molds run was pre-painted/partially assembled plastic. I have the Curtis (all plastic), and it's pretty cool, but I'm really looking forward to seeing these things in diecast. If anyone can confirm that these things are really coming in diecast, let us all know!

HLJ's listing is here: Search Results

I have the Savoia S.21 on pre-order at HLJ. I doubt it'll be diecast but I'd be jumping for joy if it turned out to be so. I suspect it's just a re-release of the prior semi-finished kit since it has the same product code number. Even so, I'm glad it's coming.

For what it's worth, they don't have the same product code on HLJ's website. The previous releases were FNMPJ-01, -02, and -03, but these new ones are FNMPJ-1N, -2N, and -3N. Don't know if that's a distinction without a difference, but it is at least a difference for the purposes placing a preorder with HLJ. I, for one, have my fingers crossed.
