I got my 1/72 scale Porco Rosso S.21 at the Studio Ghibli Museum in Tokyo. I liked the movie. And the museum. Passed on the Curtiss. These are both plastic models. I don't think there are any in diecast. | |||||||||||||||

I love the anime too. Is the kit prepainted ? From the pics of Ken Airmodel its prepainted.I simply love the bright red colour of the plane. | |||||||||||||||

Yes, there are two versions. The plane before Curtis shot him down and the reconstructed version. The big difference is the radiator, the first has it on the sides of the engine and the latter has it under the engine. Plus the latter has a second cockpit for Flo. | |||||||||||||||
