Rall's My Logbook

Well, I finally sprang for this book -- been wanting to for ages and I figure it's never going to get any cheaper, so...

Just got it, and my initial impression is that it shouldn't ever be any cheaper (though I suppose Parsig will take that as a challenge!)

Very well made, lots of great photographs, and the style of writing seems to be very "readable" -- I think this is one I will enjoy for a long time. Having the signature is the icing on the cake.

I got it for under $60 delivered off of ebay. Hardcover, 374 pages.

Historic Aviation sells them for the same price, but I wanted to use my "offshore" account (paypal).

Re: Rall's My Logbook

I got this book when someone posted the site about it some time ago, may have been on MH 1. Great book, very enjoyable, and a very good quality binding, etc. Rall's signature is iceing on the cake!

Re: Rall's My Logbook

I concur with Eddie and Pappy. I bought it for the same price - possibly the same seller - on Ebay. A very high quality book for the price and signed to boot. I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in WWII aviation.

Re: Rall's My Logbook

I have the first one, the self titled memoir. Have not even cracked it but I may have to now. aberdeenbookstore.com has a great site and many other books.

Not just on Ebay that is...
