Great looking formation shots. I sure do like the I-153, but kind of limited on kits though. Have a 1/72nd scale kit, but have had no luck hunting down a 1/48th scale kit of this aircraft.

Yes reading the info on the web page they are from New Zealand, and I think one of them is for sale.

I remember seeing something in FlyPast awhile back and think it was in Wanaka New Zealand they had a big airshow that these aircraft flew in,2002 or 2003. Wonder which type is for sale, I-16 or I-153?

The late Mark Hanna test flew the Polikarpovs I-16
He climbed out ecstatic with a huge grin and exclaimed that it was the most exciting fighter he had ever flown.
