Re: Planespotting

Thanks for posting the photo slideshow, Pappy. I enjoyed it immensely! I am really looking forward to seeing the new livery on the Collings' Lib. I hope it makes it my way this summer.

Re: Planespotting

I have been wanting to go on a ride in the Fortress for a while now, but more expensive it gets, the less it is likely to happen.

Great pics btw, I wonder if the Mustang gives rides?

Yes, but for $2200 and up for a half hour -- I don't think they have a less expensive option?

I'll ask when they are in town here.

Here's the menu:

Flight Experiences - The Collings Foundation

The bomber rides didn't go up in price from last year, I missquoted -- they are $425 max.

Thanks Captain -- I was getting a bit bored of looking at old pappy's mug so I replaced it with a shot of his C1 AVG P-40.

Well, I gotta say I rather liked, and was used, to his mug there......but his plane isn't bad either!
