| Re: Close-up photo op! There is actually a lot of discussion about these photos around the net. If you study them it is pretty clear that the second one is a much longer lens that has greatly compressed the distance between the aircraft. The fighter isn't as close as it appears and in fact is probably in about the same position as the first image. | |||||||||||||

That certainly makes sense. I imagine that ingesting a photographer, at 10,000 ft, is an excellent way for a Eurofighter jock to loose his wings. | ||||||||||||||

It is probably a C 130J and the fighter is probably way throttled back. | ||||||||||||||
