Petaluma Veteran's Day Warbird Fly-in

Thought I'd post some pics I took at the Petaluma airport on vet's day -- a few Mustangs, T-28s, and some Russian birds flew in to participate in the annual, and quite large, veteran's day parade -- formation fly overs of the parade route for well over an hour. Pretty free access to the planes at the airport, too, which was a nice change from SOP. We sat about 20 feet away from them on the tarmac as they fired up and taxied to the runway. Sweet! Then we were treated to a mini-airshow as the plane sponsors got rides and we got to see fast passes and such for an hour or so... I was only bummed that I didn't bring the long glass!
