The Cold Front

http://www.vectorfineart.co.uk/Print...old-front.html

I have been looking for a copy of Nick Trudgian's Winter Wolves. Every time I find one for sale, it is normally going for £400 plus ($800 US).

However, I have now got a copy of his new painting called "The Cold Front" and I think it is almost as good.

OK, I have not got the edition signed by 6 SS tankers , but I am happy with it. Its at the framers at the moment and should be on my wall by this time next week.

Re: The Cold Front

I really like his work -- it's a toss up to me whose I prefer, Taylor or his. I've a few of his books, one that includes that particular piece and it's one of my favs. The bitterness of the climate really comes through.

Congrats!

I think Taylor is the better artist, as his prints look more like real life.

I have a number of Taylors, and would like a lot more........just can't aford them at £200 plus framimg.

I am thinking of selling a few of my older Taylors so I can buy some more of his newer ones. I really like "No Turning Back" and a number of others.

I prefer his action prints, such as Knights On The Eastern Front. I think I might sell the ones in my collection that are not showing combat.

I like that print as well ....My father has a few Robert Taylors prints "Rabul - Fly for your Life" and "American Eagles"
I like Russell Smith paintings as well for the WWI birds.
