No. The real answer is the F-111. Granted, we didn't fly with external tanks very often (neither does the A-10), but the FB-111s (in SAC) did all the time. In any event, the A-10 uses the F-111's external tanks. I'll try to find a picture to post. The F-105's are different in shape (though there is a vague similarity), particularly the fins.
