The grand finale is a picture of Jims summer chair and the table for his warm beer.

I thought a nice pastoral scene was in order after all that HEAVY metal.

Cocoa time now.

That was my little piece of Yorkshire.
Do you like castles? Well this is Corfe Castle or whats left of it. off to bed now before I get done for being off topic.

Excellent photos Jim, you should really go off topic more often .


(I'm sure there's the shadow of a skunk like critter in the castle ruins, although one can't be sure ...

Hello and thanks for the kind words wmosner, attached to the main house are about 20 acres of land. I sadly don't own any of it but I have leasehold of 125 years on the land which is shared between the 4 residents of the old house.
The old house is a Victorian Gentleman's house of about 1870. There is a tennis court stables and a beautiful carriage drive leading up to the house.
Poor ol Jim lives round the back of the house in what used to be the servants quarters. Well they say water finds its own level!!!

I must add that the old house is now 4 large apartments, however all the original Victorian features have been preserved including the original grand fireplaces the old library and stunning entrance hall with its tiled floor.

The house is relatively new for around here. There are many houses dating back to the 14th century in the area, A twelfth century church is nearby and a several Roman roads.
