Fury and the Fifteen!

Flying from HMS Ocean with three other Sea Furies on August 9th 1952, Lieutenant P "Hoagy" Carmichael scored a famous dogfight victory over a Mig 15, one of eight that attacked the 802 Squadron's aircraft off of the Korean coast.

Carrying it's distinctive black and white identification stripes and the bold Fleet Air Arm pattern two colour scheme this machine presents the enduring image of Sydney Camm's last great piston engined design

Re: Fury and the Fifteen!

That is awsome. Do you mind if I use that as a screen saver?

Re: Fury and the Fifteen!

It's not mine. I found this sometime ago on one of the many CGI sites on the net.

I was browsing my collection today and saw this one. I thought that it may be of some interest considering the recent release of the Sea Fury from Witty.

Re: Fury and the Fifteen!

The fury is a bad plane. Really a pretty fast aircraft.

Re: Fury and the Fifteen!

I saw it and thought what can I sell to raise the money.I looked around at the bare floors and walls,Too late sold everything already to fund all the Swordfish. They say you get what you pay for ,well its a high price but look at the detail. You just could not get any more detail into 1/72 scale. Sigh, I guess I will just have to look and drool. Apart from that one I dont like whats on offer at the moment with regards to the Fury. I think I will wait awhile and see if anything better pops up.
