NVAF MiG-21 w/missiles

I'm lucky. I had a little extra money, so I was able to buy several MIG-21s.

I'm displaying my German MIG with the wing drop tanks, so I had two extra missiles. I painted the pylons silver and put them on my NVAF MIG...

A very striking photo of the Mig-21 PF, gunner! I bet you will want an F-4 "Mig Killer" Phantom to mix it up with that NVAF Mig someday?

I did the same thing except I took mine off the Soviet MiG so it didn't require paint

Re: NVAF MiG-21 w/missiles

Well, I REALLY wanted to display my Russian MiG as a Medium Range BARCAP load with the centerline tank and all four missiles, so that wasn't an option for me.

Of course, I don't know how I'm going to cope with the next NVAF MiG that comes out.

Hate to queep, but that configuration would hardly be "medium range" for a MiG-21. For it to even start to qualify, you'd need all three tanks. The MiG-21 is notoriously short-legged, even the later versions.

I have mine displayed with three tanks and two missiles, so I have extras for when I get the second announced Corgi North-Vietnamese one (with the mottled green on top of the metal finish, although who knows, that one may come with missiles anyway).
