Fooling Around With Photoshop

This is really the first time today i sat down and was fooling around with the Photoshop program.
It's raining outside today so i thought i try some new stuff.
Using backgrounds is a little harder then i thought it be.
But like anything else keep at it and you will get better......I hope
After reading Pappy's thread on this sort of thing i thought i give it a shot.

Oh-oh, look out starman you're about to eat up all your "free time" Nice! Great-looking B-52, as well!

Did you extract the model from the first image or did you just manually get rid of the shadows (with the erasor tool) before dropping in the new background?

I manually got rid of the shadows.
The F-15 picture (ON THE WITTY THREAD) i just did today as a test i had no shadows at all with that picture. I extracted the B-52 from the image to the backround and had to do use the little erasor tool a little.
I always use a white background....to me it works better..i also use the black background as well so i won't have as many shadows.
Once i get some better background pics i'll be able to do better...i hope
I think it's kinda fun...But does take some time doing.
