Re: My Early War/Pre-war Navy Planes

I've come close to pull the trigger on that P-26 several times. Not 1/72 but seems like it would be close enough and who else is going to do it?

Nice to see some more photos of it. Might just make me get one.

You should, 1250ships, you should. It is an excellent little aircraft!

Re: My Early War/Pre-war Navy Planes

The box says 1/100 series. It was not as small a plane as I thought in real life. The pilot actually looks small while seated at the controls in the vintage photo's I saw while researching the plane. This plane also looks really nice with my Polikarpov. The real plane was a 26 1/2 ' long!

Yes, the two P-26's are nice. Just got both of them in the mail today. Even at the strange "1/63" they are close enough to go with the 1/72 scales. Nice finishes on both.

Go for it this little plane is super heavy and solid! It has one of the nicest paint jobs I have run into in the hobby.

I would love to see the P-26 "Pearl Harbor" version, in the dark-olive green camo to go with these two cuties.

Yes, I agree with Louie! I am very impressed with them and a great value for around $12.95 each too.
