Re: Mustang Lovers: New Osprey Book

The book "Mustang Aces of the Ninth & Fifteenth Air Forces" ....was included with the GMP 1/35th P-51 "Duchess Arlene" I recently purchased. I could use more reference materials about the exploits of the Tuskegee Airmen definitely. I heard/read ol' George Lucas (of Star Wars fame) is planning a movie about them soon?

Oh man, that would be awsome. I am sure that he would do a good job.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Hopefully he will. However, GL has been talking about making a Red Tail movie since the mid '80s. I admit that I am a little disenchanted with his movie making ability since the advent of Episodes I-III and the special editions...all Special Effects with less plot and no acting. You never know, though. Maybe he was just in a rut.

the air-to-air action sequences would be fantastic, but the dialog would suck!
