Cons
1. No foreign relations experience
2. No experience at the federal level
3. Relatively unknown
4. Defuses attacks on Obama as inexperienced
5. Doesn't come from a contested state
6. May be seen as a too-obvious attempt to woo Hillary supporters

*shrug* My first reaction is that she's a pretty astute choice, but we'll see how it plays out. If nothing else, she's not a *safe* choice, and that's a plus.

It will induce a much needed dose of uncertainty into the election. I think that vice-presidential posts deserve a good bit of consideration this Nov. because,1,Mr. McCains age and possible health issues,and 2,Mr.Obamas vulnerability to violence at the hands of some of his opposition. Rather sad............

Yes, the Republicans are all about effcient use of our tax dollars -- the last eight years have proven that!

And you know what, I'd stomach paying more if somethign tangible and beneficial is done with it

Honestly, I'd never heard of Palin before today.... to me, that's a problem.
