Spike Lee is a racist. The movie "Letters from Iwo Jima" is the Japanese side of the battle of Iwo Jima. If Spike had any sense, he would know that there were no "negros" in the Japanese Army stationed on Iwo Jima (or anywhere else) since the movie is about that. Of course there is a few American soldiers but not many. He is a idiot to say the least. As for Clint's other movie, "Flags of our Fathers", the story is about the flag raisers of Iwo Jima. There was NO black, african-american, or negros (Spike Lees favorite word-actually 'negro' is the spanish word for 'black') on top of Mt. Subachi raising the US flag that day. So Spike Lee...quit your crying. Just because your a crappy producer and don't have any good or even "B" movies produced, don't knock another producer. Go hang out with your other racist friends like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson, the new "Negro three stooges".

Nope. The Knicks lost the series. If Spike hadn't gotten Reggie riled up "his" team, the Knicks, would have won that game. But no. The little guy just couldn't shut up when the Knicks were ahead in the final seconds. He had to make fun of Reggie, who promptly went on a tare to beat the New Yorkers. Thanks, Spike.

I'm not defending what Spike Lee said, but he has made some great movies. 25th Hour, Do The Right Thing, Summer of Sam.

Some comments made here have been rather "Good Ol' Boy"-ish, and I don't see the need for it. Spike made the comment, and Clint defended himself. You don't need to do it for him.

I never said Spike didn't make a few good movies. I did say that he was the one pulling the race card and making hay about another person's work b/c it didn't include black actors or make reference to African American's who took part even though doing so would have been contrary to the plot and historically inaccurate! I said he was an idiot and a reverse racist for the crap he put out there.

And I DO take offense to your remark, if you were referring to me, that comments I made were "Good Ol' Boy'-ish"! I stand by the things I said. Oh by the way, I'm not white either and I can't stand the racist/reverse racist crap that goes on!

Geez Guys.......Don't let this get personal with you ...I only started this thread because of Clint Eastwood said to Spike Lee about his Iwo Jima Movies..
Now it seems it's drifting off a little here.....Let keep it clean or i will have to close my "Go Ahead Make My Day" thread.....Dirty Harry style....
