One could respect the Japanese who fought to the death during WWII as brave, if not terribly rational, enemies. But the Muslim fundamentalist approach, which often recruits children and women to be suicide bombers on pain of seeing their families murdered, merits nothing more than contempt. These aren't "holy warriors". They are terrorist thugs and should be treated as such when confronted or captured. We have released a number of these maniacs from Guantanamo in recent years, sending them back to their home countries only to meet them again as suicide bombers in Afghanistan. Will we ever learn?
