Re: Marine, back from Iraq, shot dead in his home town

This is both tragic & sickening - i'm keen to hear what happens to this pair of pricks, hopefully the death penalty. Or better still how about a free one way trip to Iraq where they can get dropped into some un-friendly hands. Perhaps then they'll gain a quick respect for the Marines as they call for help!!

This one has me worked up...

Take it out and play with it

Personally I am all for life in prison with out the chance of parole. Costs the American tax payer less, not as many appeals for this as apposed to the death penalty. Of course, put them in general population though.

Re: Marine, back from Iraq, shot dead in his home town

Sure firefighterpilot : This story is very sad, but perhaps even more revolting !

Does the law in Ohio, and the town of Cleveland comply with the 2nd Amendement...? (would the poor chap have been allowed to carry a gun in his home town...?)

I wish he would have shot the b.....d.

I live in Ohio, though not in Cleveland, and I'm pretty sure you CAN carry firearms there. I wish he had been, and been able to put the thugs "out of their misery," would have saved a lot of money for a trial, endless appeals etc.

My heart and prayers go out to his family, including his Marine family.

As for what happened to this country, I will tell you--parents! Today's kids grow up without a mother/father in their life. I'm not talking about divorce, I'm saying one parents DOES NOT want to be involved in the child's life. These poor kids are brought up unwanted, undiscipline, and lacking moral character.

I could go on and on...but I'll stop....

I absolutely agree with you. The good old sense of family values has COMPLETELY gone out the window and I hope to God it comes back. The horror stories I hear from my friends who are teachers, is just unbelievable! What REALLY irritates me are the bumper stickers that say "It is NEVER ok to hit a child". BULL _ _ _ _! I'm still a young guy but even in my day, my parents NEVER hesitated to give me a tail whopping when I got out of line, and I truly believe I am a better person for it. Of course it's not ok to beat a child but spanking? ABSOLUTELY. I think you're doing your child/country a disservice if you do otherwise. [end rant]

It's always hard to watch a military burial but at the same time it's great to see a group of brothers honoring one of their own. It's one of the few great things this country still has left and because of generation after generation of great men and women it's something we'll never lose.

That is such a sad story, how do we breed such evil amongst us.

Its heartbreaking to hear about such senseless killing. Cold blooded murder of a fine young man.
Sometimes I despair off the human race.

Whenever I have come into contact with these mindless morons I usually find that they are a copy of their parents.

Britain today seems to produce thousands of these thugs, why , well many reasons , probably the same as in the US.
The softer we make our laws the more these evil good for nothings thrive.

All I hear about is the rights of the perpetrators, what about the rights of the victims.

My deepest condolences go out to the family of that fine young Marine.

I am afraid our countries, with few exceptions, have more or less been struck by the same mental decadence, the main symptom of wich is the systematic inversion of values...

I agree with you 1000%! Wish he carried a firearm to rid the world of a couple of losers.

They'd never get to trial. I suspect that they would shot about 250 times in the back while trying to escape.

Not that it would bother me any...
