More buried treasure...

A German Stug pulled from the bog looking the same as it would have when it went in there 60+ years ago, white washed and a great example. Too bad the loons in charge of it left it out in the weather to rust the last couple years.

Re: More buried treasure...

Thats a really cool sight. I wish I could read what they were saying. I also came across this on the sight. A heinkel 111 still in condition after being in the water for so many years... http://www.detektorweb.cz/index.4me?...mm=2&xb=2&vd=1

Re: More buried treasure...

These searches are turning up some intresting web pages. This is one on the pilot of the 111. I found some great Aces web sights. I'll list them.

I believe the article is written in Czech but depicts a He111 found in a Norwegian fjord - enough to confuse anyone .

Re: More buried treasure...

These are great articles posted here. If you scroll down to the bottom of the articles there is lots of foriegn writing. Click on each of these and you will find dozens of more tank and plane features. Lots of German Apc,s T-34 's, T-26's, Marders and a WW1 British tank. All coming out of rivers ,lakes or dug out of the ground. I spent an hour browsing. Amamzing stuff.
