| Re: Frozen remains of WWII airman found! I was just wondering about his mums hair. It says that she never had her hair cut again after losing her son, I find that a very moving way of remembering her son. She lived to be 102, I wonder how long her hair was. It would have been so much better if her son had been found before she died, at least she could have laid him to rest back in his home town and the family could finally come to terms with their loss together. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Frozen remains of WWII airman found!
I hear you buddy! There was a similar story on this regarding a P-51 fighter pilot - named Patton (no relation to General 'Blood & Guts') being found in France a few years ago. Hopefully, this will bring final closure to the pilot's family and relatives. | ||||||||||||||
