However as a former instructor at the US Army Basic Airborne Course, its well know / rumored that the Navy's progran is not safe. I use to hear from those in the pipeline for SEAL/UDT/EOD that they shouldn't have to do the Army's basic course. We would have to remind them that the Navy's (static line) version was closed as it was too dangerous. God bless them, but those guys approach things with a F-It attitude.
