| Re: Son of Concorde: New hypersonic airliner Surely this would be(is, will be..lol) obsolete compared to a "scramjet" aircraft?. Nasa tested a "Scramjet" aircraft not so long along. Ok in very early stages of development but still...very fast. Possible to acheive 10,000mph+. Wether a scramjet will ever be built big enough to carry a pilot, let alone passengers is debateable. | |||||||||||||
