Re: Any FlyPast and Aeroplane: Barnes & Noble

You gotta be kidding, this magazine while ok can not even be on the same rack as AeroPlane, cheaply made, thin see through pages, about half as much info as AeroPlane but not half the price.
The whole quality level is much much lower and the content is much less. You cant beat the Magazines printed in England for quality and content.

No comparison, it's a great magazine if nothing else is available.

Biggie, this is just meant as a suggestion, and as kindly as possible. Everyone has their own opinion, and we are all entitled to them, but I believe you would be well served to tone yours down a bit in what you write. You may not mean it this way at all, but your comment is so forceful that it can come accross as a bit insulting to those who hold a different opinion. Opinions on a magazine are subjective: there is no right or wrong here.

Re: Any FlyPast and Aeroplane readers out there?

Well opinion wise I have to side with some of Biggies comments regarding some of the Aviation Publications coming out of the UK having a bit more content. For me this is not just limited to aviation history. I like Fine Scale Modeler, but some of the UK publications like Scale Aircraft Modelling and Scale Aviation Modeller International definitely have more content. These publications are priced a bit higher, but rarely am I dissapointed with the content.
