If they are caught the punishment should be as follows.
Firstly get some very explicit combat footage from the archives and make them watch it so they have some understanding of the horror of war and huge sacrifice those brave men gave in the cause of freedom.
Then put them in the stocks in the main street of the city with a sign by their side so every passerby can see why they have been put there.

Sometimes the old ways are best.

First, some Singapore style whoop-butt (aka caning)-- humiliating and quite painful. Then, follow it up with tabasco, jalapeno and habanero sauce enemas (3 enemas total). Afterwards, lock them in a cell with a toilet but no sink or toilet paper.

I understand that what has happened is truly abhorrent behaviour and that you're understandably venting your outrage. However, take a look at some of the posts made and consider the consequences if your 'recommendations' ever were to be literally transformed into action - the 'lynch mob' mentality seems to be alive and well, which in today's day and age is concerning given the historical significance of events that occur as a result of 'the will of the mob'.

Good sermon Cardo , OK dont shoot them but I stand by the rest of my post.

Question for you Cardo, do you think the modern trend to treat these culprits as victims themselves and offer them help and support and money and free holidays and days out etc, has in any way led to any improvement in behavior.

The lighter the hand of justice the harder the criminal.

They should take responsibility for their actions and definitely should not be allowed to play the 'victim' card (which is in itself a philosophy that is pretty misguided in my opinion). Of course severe sentences should be handed down after the appropriate judicial and not extra-judicial 'mob' process. The Romans developed and used law well, so well in fact that the roots of most of our law can be traced back to Latin.

A few years ago my car was broken into during the night. The radio was stolen and the petrol syphoned out.
AND would you belive it, they defacated on my doorstep and wiped their >>>>> with my car rug!

Oh if only I could have found out who did it Oh if only.

As to the police response, I qoute, I know you must be upset sir but there is nothing we can do and I must warn you that if you were to take matters into your own hands you would be arrested.

I would have let them arrest me no problem if only I could have got my hands on whoever did that disgusting act.
The law has failed us in the UK the politicians have failed us so what are we to do?

Well enough of that , but as you can see I am strictly in the flog em and hang em camp.
