| Re: **This Is So Sad Guys** F-14 Will Be Gone In 6 Months Living near Mira Mar during it's hay day as "Fightertown U.S.A." Top Gun. It aches my heart to see them go like that. I'd wish they could do what they did to the Phantoms and make them into drones and let them go out with a bang not under some crusher. It was such a thrill to be driving up interstate 15 and to watch as they would come in for landings just feet above the freeway having the window down to be able to hear the roar of the engines and hopefully nobody hit there brakes, it did cause a few accidents over the years.... | |||||||||||||
