Right, now can we keep this a diecast website? There's plenty of other forums for this 'man is destroying the planet' nonsense....

I am with you no4mkit, anyway its all the politicians fault, they spout so much hot air what do you expect.

Sorry to drone on but I would like to make an observation.
Whilst being press ganged into a long holiday i spent a day at a place called Kimmeridge. Its on the coast and is famous for fossils.
I noticed that the base of the exposed rock stata showed that the area was once a huge tropical lake and full of rich flora and stuff, (technical terms). however the strata above was just bedrock then the next bit (techincal term again) was full of fossils indicating that the area had returned to its former state. But again the next layer was bedrock with just a few marine fossils and yet again the next layer was tropical with rich deposites of marine and bio life. The exposed strata covered 180 million years, my point being that we may worry about global warming but we have been here many times before and the layers of rock show that major climate change seems to be normal and can happen over a very short space of time as shown by the very sharp delination of different strata.

After talking at some length with the local know all sorry Expert we agreed that its no good worrying and we should just enjoy what we have while we can, BTW he makes and flies RC aircraft so he must be right.

OOOps sorry no4mkit I felt the need to impart that observed and accredited info. So it seems the die is cast!!!!!!!

God Bless America.

If the ice caps melt that has to be bad for the coastal areas.
The water level is sure to rise in those areas.
I'll start building me a house boat to be safe...
Wish i never saw that movie "The day after tommorow".
