| Thank goodness for the Israelis At least somebody is taking action against the thugs of the world... http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/new...cle2461421.ece By the way, this story (and reference to the Times Online article) was buried in the middle of Foxnews.com. The rest of the online sites made no mention of it. I guess the Juice getting arrested for petty theft is much more important to global peace and security... | |||||||||||||

| Re: Thank goodness for the Israelis "By its actions, Israel showed it is not interested in waiting for diplomacy to work where nuclear weapons are at stake. As a bonus, the Israelis proved they could penetrate the Syrian air defence system, which is stronger than the one protecting Iranian nuclear sites." Thank goodness for the Isrealis, indeed! | |||||||||||||

| Re: Thank goodness for the Israelis
If Iran is going to be attacked, the first targets should be their ballistic missiles and Ahmedinijad himself. Remember Saddam launching on Israel during the first Gulf War? Considering all the comments that Ahmidenijad (sp) has said recently about Israel, I wouldn't put it past him to launch everything he has after receiving word of an attack. Not only is Israel within range of those missiles, but so is a lot of our installations in the Gulf. | ||||||||||||||

| Re: Thank goodness for the Israelis Not the first time that the Israelis have launched pre-emptive strikes. Gets some folks waving their arms in the air but why should Israel wait for another round of Scuds in the night? Why give lip service to nations that are continually playing with us,..... take 'em out. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Thank goodness for the Israelis Way to go, Israel! If things go like they have in the past, a lot of world "leaders" may complain, but, in secret, they will be happy about it! | |||||||||||||

| Re: Thank goodness for the Israelis Good to see Isreal doing what they do best. That last little border clash was so out of character. They were all about winning on the cheap and it cost them. I wonder if Isreal's neighbors realize that if Iran nukes the Isrealis, they too buy it from fallout? Such wonderful friends the Iranians are. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Thank goodness for the Israelis This whole thing is strange indeed. I recall a brief item on one of the cable news channels around September 6th, where the Syrian's claimed rather vaguely that they "shot at" IDF jets. Then silence. Next comes the New York Times online article about N.Korea and nukes, but still nobody's saying much---certainly not Syria or Iran, who would normally be screaming bloody murder. Now we are seeing some lame reporting through normal media channels, including denials of involvement by North Korea, but everything is still very subdued. Sounds like something very interesting happened ---like a strong message being sent to Iran and Syria via Israel's bombs and probably involving us. Perhaps it worked and that's why everyone is keeping things close to their vests....to avoid stirring up a hornet's nest. | |||||||||||||
