Well now.....Somebody sure was not watching what they were doing when they loaded it up in the first place.

Re: Nuclear warheads mistakenly flown on B-52

Well, the Russian's aren't flying their Bears on long flights by accident! The scariest thing about this story is that the warheads were released without the knowledge of the folks who are supposed to be keeping tabs on these things. In a sense, they "lost" the warheads, and only realised they had been lost when they were "found" upon landing.

Looks like it is time for a career change for some crew dogs. Major blunder, just glad it did not originate out of Barksdale AFB.

Yikes... sounds a little too 24 for my liking. (Hopefully, there's a real world Jack out there to right things when they go south...)

Re: Nuclear warheads mistakenly flown on B-52

I think it's better to have them mistakenly flow on a B-52 than mistakenly sent through UPS.

I hope these things never get in the wrong hands.....This is spooky stuff here.
They have got to keep better track of where these things are..

Of course if this happens with all of our safeguards, just imagine what's going on in Russia where procedures can be a bit more, shall we say, lax.
