These are all air to air warbird photos. He takes alot of them from the tail section of a B-25. Great pics.

That is really cool looking pictures....
That B-17 is the one the used for the movie "Memphis Belle" ??
They did add Yellow checkers to it's cowling i see.

I think its the Sally B at Duxford. Didnt they paint one side like the Belle and the other like the Sally so they could film it as two different planes in the film of the Belle. (that was a brilliant film).

I remember a calendar called "Ghosts" that was pictures of WWII planes. These are probably those shots.

That is the Sally B. Yes, it has the Belle noseart on the one side, and her real nose art on the other. The checkered cowling is in honor of the guy that bought her. He died in a T-6 crash. His T-6 had that same checkered cowling on it. The chin turret was removed for filming in the movie, but has since been reinstalled as you can see in the pic.
