Nellis AFB Threat Training Facility

The Threat Training Facility at Nellis AFB (The Petting Zoo) was one place I really liked to visit while I was stationed there. At the time I was there you were not permitted to take any pictures of the aircraft or vehicles on display, in that at these were still classified. You were able to get into the cockpits and also go into the vehicles on display. I did a search today and it indicated that the existance of the facility was no longer classified, but it was still not something open to the general public. I was further surprised to the that they had allowed pictures of the aircraft at the facility.

Thumbs up Re: Nellis AFB Threat Training Facility

Awesome links, thanks ACE! The TTFA just needs to add some Sukhoi Flankers to it's display!

Re: Nellis AFB Threat Training Facility

Found a site that has a Civil Air Patrol article on this facility. I have been in both vehicles in the picture posted on the article.
