| Barksdale AFB I had to go to some company training in Texas, and then Shreveport, LA. One day when the training was finished, we ran down to the museum on Barksdale AFB. Here are some pics. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Barksdale AFB If I recall correctly, a couple of these used to be displayed at Pease AFB (now Pease ANGB) NH before the active duty turned it over to the ANG. I recall seeing a B-47 and KC-97 there. They were moved lock, stock and barrel down to Barksdale. Pease still has a refueling wing with KC-135s, run by the ANG, although, like many other former active duty bases, the real estate is much reduced with portions sold off to civilian businesses. | |||||||||||||
