Hey dear members,
thanks for your comments here. Yes, this collection has a lot to offer, from a small pistol up to this huge 24cm Fieldgun.

The last floor is packed with more guns,assault rifles and other small arms but the lighting up there was not that good so it was not possible to make good pictures.

The Jagdpanther is an enormous piece of steel! I placed my cell phone on the track for the picture to give you an idea what size is it ( the track, not the cell phone )

unfortunately, the hole collection is crammed so you can´t take pictures from all sides of a vehicle.I hope you can forgive me
There are also other parts in this museum presenting military uniforms, military equipment, communication / signal equipment and even more guns

Entrance fee is an astonishing 1,50€ = 2,3USD.Money well spend

Pretty impressive how they did the cut away view on the armored vehicle. How big is this museum?

The whole collection is crammed inside an old Army Barrack building, exept the vehicles, tanks, trucks and larger equipment.
The rest, like all the guns, rifles and so on are placed on three stories within the building.
The larger items are all placed in the hangar-like building one can see on the pictures.

Unfortunately they do not have any items outside the building, at least not during the regular visit schedule.
Only for one day a year the tanks, trucks and stuff will be placed outside and also driven around.

I don´t know the total sqare feet of this collection, but one can spend some time there

Great stuff derhamburgerjung. Stunning museum. Thanks for posting, there's some really cool exhibits that I haven't seen before. I reckon many museum are limited in terms of space so it's often difficult to get pics of the complete subject. Your pics remind me of the pics I took at the South African Museum of Military History, I also went bananas taking pics. Oh yes, I think the Mig 23 is a Mig 27 based on the shape of the nose.
