Re: Historic Aviation Memorial Museum in Texas

Some more pictures.

For model building purposes, took some shots of exhaust stain flow patterns.

With the exception of the Thunderchief and the F-4 in a couple of the background shots all fly. It was pretty neat watching the P-39 fly in.

(The L-29 Delfin and the Mig 17 are based on the field, so them quite a bit.)

Re: Historic Aviation Memorial Museum in Texas

Thanks for posting these photos, CC. That P-39 looks great, have you seen it fly before?

The two Czech birds must be fun for the pilots lucky enough to take 'em up.

I have seen this P-39 fly a few times. First time was at an airshow back in the 90s at Nellis AFB (Saw Kingcobra fly back then too) and again this last weekend.

What squadrons were the Phantom and Thud from?

Don't do what BDE tells you to do. Do what BDE would want you to do.
