Re: RAF Museum, Cosford

I really must go and visit that museum. (three and a half hour drive from my place).
Every year I say that but I never seem to get around to going.
There are some very rare planes there and the museum is at the moment involved in a major extension of the hanger space.

This year I will definitely go see, (and i will take my camera and post lots of photos).

That means this year I will be visiting Manston, Duxford, Cosford, Bodney, Audley End, Tangemere, and hopefully Biggin Hill, oh and East Kirby.

( I have not told Lorraine yet) !

God Bless America.

Re: RAF Museum, Cosford

I could spend a week or so there. Great looking display and some really rare aircraft.

Ah, it don't look like you'll have a shortage of museums to visit there, Jimmy my man!

Jim, gimme a shout when ya go & visit - we can perhaps meet-up ?
(some of them are close to where I am; & I intend to visit them, too, anyhow).

FlyX - we (really) are spoilt for choice here in England for a/c museums.

There are even several places where there are STILL WW.II tanks beside the road, for us to pull-up & admire (Cromwell-Churchill, etc)

True enough, did the tour in '81 but lots has changed since then. Did I mention I'm from Gleska? Might be time to look up some relatives.
