That is a beautiful countryside in England....

Re: Halifax photos

Hi JP, the "house" is near my place in truth it is owned by the Queens cousin Lord Harewood. Not surprisingly its called Harewood House.

I forget the details about the statue, it shows a man with a black panther draped across his shoulders, note that I showed the rear view!
Believe me , this guy was first in the queue if you get my drift ,so I thought it best not to show the front view.

Its a stunning place to visit , it has its own bird garden ,Lake and extensive gardens.

The house is full of of every kind of fine art you can think of and was once estimated to be worth somewhere in the region of half a billion pounds.

The secret garden, cool eh.

God Bless America.

Re: Halifax photos

Hey No4 no getting one past you, well done.

A couple more shots of the dam.

BTW A few years ago I sat by the dam and watched the Lancaster fly down the lake and over the dam, It really made the hairs on the back of my kneck stand up , just an awesome sight to see.

God Bless America.

Maybe I could trade Mrs "S" and a little cash for it...she weighs almost that much.....

Re: Halifax photos

Great photos, Jim. Thanks for posting. I love photos of other countries, but I am partial to the UK. Please post more, if you are so inclined.
