Great display! Love how they have the bomb skipping towards the dam and the Lanc peeling off.

Re: Dambuster attack model at CWH Museum

Very nice. But i don't believe there is any way that the Lancaster in the diorama could have delivered the bomb we see skipping towards the dam. They can't turn on a dime!

There are 4 lancs in this diorama including the one crashed in the hills. The one which delivered the bouncing bomb is just above the green roof behind the dam. Another starting its run and one heading in opposite direction running interference.

Captain, looks like there are three Lancs in the diorama.

1) The Lancaster heading away from the dam.
2) One heading towards the dam.
3) One that just dropped and is slightly ahead of the bomb, just past the dam and pealing off to the left.

The main Lancaster we see in the dio is the first one and is the easiest to see but the other two are just a bit harder to make out.

Well, call me blind! I've often been told I sometimes do not "see" things! Part of the problem was I mostly paid attention to the top pic. I did see one other Lanc in that pic, appeared to have crashed.
