Judging by the engine cover in that last photo, it looks like our boys from the 171st were there. Here we go Steelers!

Yep they were there hangin' out. Don Lopez was also there (Flying Tiger Ace) giving a talk.

Correct, the 23rd was the successors to the "Flying Tigers" (AVG) so they continued the shark mouth P40 tradition. Hence you have the Flying Tigers (AVG) then the 23rd ( at least that is what I gather).
