I frist seen this bird when it was still on the pedestal. Seen these and thought that I would share them with you, can never have enough lancasters to look at now can we LOL. | |||||||||||||

| Re: Pics of a lancaster beign brought back to life Yes this is the one, When I last seen it, it was outdoors and the weather was beating it up bad birds where using it for a nest!! They are puting it back together but not sure if it will fly again or not. Would be neat to see if flying again after all it went though. | |||||||||||||

(I wonder how they are going to handle the dorsal turret issue on this one.) | Re: Pics of a lancaster beign brought back to life Little off topic, but does anyone know what they did with the Lancaster that was in Windsor? It was on a static pedestal and was taken down to be restored, but I cant find any information. That plane is one of the reasons I collect Diecast. Use to be my favourate park as a kid. Wanted to have my Wedding pictures taken there, but the wife preferred a flower garden for the backdrop. Oh well. | |||||||||||||
