Re: Battleship cove

I am jealous man. I am trying to get there this summer. I am a huge fan of PT Boats, and they have two. Thanks for posting pics.

I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Thumbs up More pics on the way soon

Thanks for the warm welcome and I am glad that you guys liked the pics. I have as well some pics of warplanes on the way as well as more pics of the ottawa war museum. Yes there are two pt boats I will post the other pic soon. In side the battleship is a model display that will make your day, tanks, planes you name it is to cool!! I have some pics of them as well and will post soon. The sub was cool inside, the head was so small you had to sit down almost to pee lol, the shower is not much for the men but after all it is a sub right? big mama as the battleship is called was just so darn cool!! I just wish I had more time as my wife and I were just dead tried after staying up all day 24 hours in total. The Russian ship is neat not very big but cool none the less. Next year I hope to see new jersey, my brother was on wiscousin the lucky bugger and it is bigger then big mama. This summer I hope to go back on broad Hmcs sackville, this ship was named for my home town of sackville New brunswick and I have been on many times before. Look for pics when I get them as well. It is a floting museum in Halifax Nova Scotia and is worth a vist as well. We have a german u-boat here, problum is if you want to see it you have to frist fine and then drive on it lol. It was brought to Halifax at the end ot the war and sadly to say sunk as a target. There was talk about finding it and rise it so we can have one for a musuem but it does not look like that will happen. Last but not least lol there are two great canadian war plane museums in the Haifax area, if you guys are ever down this way check them out you will be glad you did
