First visted Wright Pat back in '79 and visited annually when I went to Dayton Airshow.
In the old days, before all the new buildings etc. You could visit the main hall then drive over to the annex hanger to see what was going on there. The Restoration hanger still needed an escort.

Now many of the aircraft are finished and on display in the new buildings. One of the world's best aviation museums. It is a must visit if you can.

Of all the places to find a mint condition Lysander...

I had a chance to visit that museum around 1990-1991 if I recall correctly. Can't remember a damned thing other than that though
