Re: National Museum of the Marine Corps

That looks like a great place to visit! Maybe I should start to plan an extra trip for 2009

Re: National Museum of the Marine Corps

Wow - this looks like a great museum & another reason for me to return to the DC / Virginia area one day.

My trip to the NMUSAF was one of the best days of my life & I really want my kids to experience that too

Take it out and play with it

Re: National Museum of the Marine Corps

Kind of like the LVT1 display in the background.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: National Museum of the Marine Corps

I like the spacious design of the museum. Did the USMC fly the Avenger?
