I love the King fisher.

You do? I'd buy it if someone came out with it, but I think that it's one ugly bird.

Re: Seafury and Kingfisher

What are those 'Commies' doing with one example of Britain's finest Prop-fighters ??????

And couldn't you have managed to paint it up in a more UGLY scheme ????????

Sling 'em a late 1970's Cadillac for the pair , then we can give 'em a lick of (sensible) paint & a decent home

Re: seafury and king fisher

Actually I like the paint scheme, specialy the flag on the back wings.
These are very well protected in Cuba they are Icons of the fight against USA.
They were used against the invaders during the pig bay attack.
There are soldiers garding them 24hrs a day.

Re: seafury and king fisher

Yes, great pics, thanks for posting them! There's a wealth of historic warplanes in lesser-know museums scattered all over the place, Finland, Thailand, Poland, etc, and would love to have the money and time to visit them all.

Re: seafury and king fisher

I do , I love the Kingfisher. I prefer the version on floats. I wish Hobbymaster would think of one of these for it's 1/48th sclae line.
