Yeah, it looks like a diorama of the recovery site.

Does anyone know if they recovered the fuselage?

Yes...There is absolutely nothing remaining of it in the desert..

Parts of the plane were scavanged or returned to the US for evaluation.
Curiously,several aircraft that were repaired with parts from "Lady Be Good" crashed.Other parts of Lady Be Good can be seen today at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base Museum.

I would love to know where the fuselage is. I know that at Wright Pat. we have one of the engines on display, along with part of the main gear, as well as a nose tire.

I emailed a friend of mine who is a expert (INHO) on the B-24's and he sent me this link to look at.

I think that it is horrible that that is how the lady Be Good is going to remain. I can't believe that someone would have tried to get it.
