I can take umbrage, I can take the cake, I can take the A-Train, I can take two and call me in the morning, but I cannot take this sitting down. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take five.

Re: Air Mobility Command Museum--Dover AFB

That's pretty cool. Is that you in the pic?
I see you found your way in to the cockpit of a C-5. Is that the one that crashed?
That last one may have been a stupid question, but I'm gonna ask it just in case.

I bet they are. I am actually in the pilot seat of a C-141. It was pretty sweet. THe stock car in there war there for pictures that morning. It had the museum's logo and name on the hood. It was a really cool mseum. It was amazing to see that C-5 out in a farm field.

Re: Air Mobility Command Museum--Dover AFB

That had to have been the largest cockpit I have ever been in. I think my college dorm room was smaller than that.

Re: Air Mobility Command Museum--Dover AFB

I seem to rememeber reading somewhere that they have already turned the cockpit of the C5 into a training simulator and shipped it off to another base

Re: Air Mobility Command Museum--Dover AFB

Are they using it to train crews how to land C5s in farm fields?
