Re: Displaying my Collection

Looks good. Are those pictures shot from overhead or are your models being supported by the edge of the wing? If they are lying on their wing, I'm not sure I would do that (paint scratching, wing slips and model falls snapping a piece off, or odd event of wing or tail warping or bending if they are larger scale and heavier).

Re: Displaying my Collection

I actually have them supported by the wing. They are all 1/100 scale (Postage Stamp Series).

I am hoping since they are in cases, on shelves, they will not fall causing the breakage.

They don't move so I don't think I'll have to worry about scratches, but I'll keep that in mind and check them regularly. If that occurs, I'll have to stand them up on their bases.

Looks great I've never seen anyone pose their models that way.

Re: Displaying my Collection

Thats pretty cool! I have a customer who buys Model Power and Mrc because of budget and space and he
displays just the same way except the nose points at you when you look at them. It is a good way to see the whole plane

Re: Displaying my Collection

Nice look down view of your models. Interesting way to display them.

Brewster Buffalo, Hawk 75A, Fokker D.XXI, Polikarpov I-16, Fiat G.50, Macchi C. 200, PZL P.11c, Fieseler Fi 156 Storch ,,,, now those are real planes.

Re: Displaying my Collection

That's quite a unique way to display them, and you don't have to worry about knocking them on their side as well....
