Good News For F-105 Fans

Model Power has decided to do the F-105 after all for 2008. Other planes included in the company's poll, which garnered 60,000 votes are the Avenger, Hellcat and BF-110. Also, MP says it will add four more planes to the mix. These are the Cessna 172, AT-6, F-35 ( Japanese ) and, most interesting, the Martin Mariner (PBM-5 ).

Correction on the F-35. It's not Japanese. Rather, it's our new Joint Strike Fighter. As for the Cessna, the plane indicated is a light civilian plane, which comes as a surprise to me. I'd much rather see a Cessna A-37 "Dragonfly".

Count me in as well! The title of this thread is a BIG tease, I mean Model Power and IXO is okay IF there is no other option (even then I might not buy) but I don't think most diehard collectors take them seriously. They just lack the refinement, detail and options of a Corgi, Dragon or Hobbymaster.

Besides, Model Power has some crappy scales. You'd be hard-pressed to match different planes because they're all different scales.....and nobody wants that!
......Boy I sound like such an elitist!!!!
