Airbrushes...wha?

I've been thinking of getting back into painting 25mm military miniatures (Napoleanics and such), and wonder if airbrushing is possible at that scale. If so, what would be a good airbrush to get at an affordable price. Thanks for your help.

I think it's possible but would doubt you would get the same result as hand painting 25mm miniatures. Vehicles are one thing but uniforms are completely different, especially some of the intricate details and colors on Napoleonic uniforms. I can give you a recommendation to a forum that's about painting miniatures, some of the best painters in the world can be found there and can provide invaluable info if you have questions.

Would appreciate it if you could. I see these guys turning out painted figures by the score, and it would be nice to know how to speed up the process!

Re: Airbrushes...wha?

The forum is on the Steve Dean website and listed below. Steve Dean is one of the most infamous miniature painters out there and charges a tidy sum for commissions. He has this forum where many of the best painters around hang out and is a great place overall. Check out the "pictures" section for some serious eye candy and the "painting" section would probably be the best place to ask questions on painting figures.
